This is an ideal pathway to become an Associate Member and fast-track your SMSF skills, professionals network and access other SMSF resources at no initial cost.
How the free SMSF Association works:
- CPD Hours: Register for and complete the 10 series of DBA Network’s SMSF Online Update series to gain over 15 CPD points/hours of training.
- Assessment: Successfully complete a brief assessment upon completion the series.
- Free membership: Upon successful completion of the assessment, DBA Network will notify the SMSF Association to admit you as an Associate Member for the remainder of the financial year ending 30 June. Thus, your first membership fee will not be due until 1 July in the following financial year.

Note this offer only applies for each individual who registers for a 10 part DBA Network SMSF Online Update series after 22 May 2026 and who satisfies the above criteria (ie, attends each 10 update webinars and successfully completes the assessment).
The complimentary SMSF Association membership runs through the remainder of the relevant financial year, with standard renewal fees applying from the next 1 July after joining. For example, if you register for 10 SMSF Online Updates with DBA Network from July 2026 to June 2027, and you are admitted in July 2027 you should be eligible for 12 months free membership with the fist payment if you wish to continue that membership starting from 1 July 2028.
